 Virus Detection and Removal

A virus is a section of code that infects programs on your computer. The virus will then use your computer to make copies of itself and try to infect as many files and computers as possible. It may damage hardware, software, or data. A worm is a type of virus. A worm generally spreads without user action and distributes complete copies (possibly modified) of itself across networks. A worm can use up memory or network bandwidth, causing a computer to crash or stop responding and can cause an Internet connection to slow to a crawl.

If you suspect  that you might have a virus please feel free to use this ONLINE VIRUS SCANNER provided by Symantec.

If you have confirmed that your computer is infected with a virus, you should obtain a current anti-virus software package as soon as possible to prevent spreading the virus and harming your computer and files.

3web recommends Norman Virus Control that is included with the 3webTLC Premium Internet Software Suite. For information, please visit 3webTLC's home page at: http://tlc.3web.com.
